Linda Hayes started raising llamas in 1989. With a herd of nearly 50 she was a major force in starting the llama industry in North Texas. While showing she won many halter and performance championships. Her first alpaca was a Suri purchased in 2,000. The same year she moved her operation to Colorado so these woolly creatures would not have to suffer from the summer heat. She purchased Huacaya alpacas 4 years ago and later became interested in the Paco-Vicuna. Linda is a certified judge in the Alpaca and Llama Show Associationas, as well as being certified with the International Llama Registry's Show Division.. She is also an Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association judge, certified to judge fleece, Suri's and Huacayas as well as being a performance judge trainer. She has spoken at several industry conferences and written many articles on health and training of camelids. She enjoys working with new people and believes that follow-up after the sale is important. She welcomes calls and can provide a list of satisfied customers.
